Space

For the last two weeks we've been doing a space theme! Buzz has been really interested in space lately and he really enjoying learning more about it! We played with our space sensory tub.

We read a few books about space:

Space Explorers

Midnight on the Moon

Fancy Nancy Sees Stars

There's No Place Like Space

We used some of the printables from the Solar System Preschool Pack at 1+1+1=1

Both Buzz and Boo learned all of the planets in order (My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nothing)

We made a few space crafts from No Time for Flashcards.

A toilet paper rocket ship and another rocket craft

We talked about moon phases and Buzz and Boo each made a moon viewer

We watched Leapfrog Math Adventure to the Moon

We read from the space section of the Giant Science Resource Book and did some of the worksheets.

One evening we put together a styrofoam solar system with Ruben

It's been a fun two weeks!
